After-Prom Party Needs Volunteers!

The organizational meeting for all who have volunteered to help with the After-Prom party is tonight, Wednesday, May 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Clarke County High School.   If you have not yet signed up to volunteer – it is not too late! Your Clarke County High School needs parental help.   We want to provide a first-rate opportunity for our juniors and seniors on Prom Night, May 21.   Prom Night is historically the most dangerous night for high school students.   This is where an After-Prom celebration comes in – it’s an event that provides fun for our juniors and seniors after the prom dance is over.

The After-Prom celebration is a drug-free and alcohol-free evening provided for the students of CCHS. This is a great way for students to have fun with friends, stay out super late, and be safe! Please consider volunteering for one or more of the responsibilities below.

  • Set-up/decorate
  • Work the front door with Admin for check-ins and outs
  • Dealer in the casino
  • Food service
  • Supervise an activity/game
  • Supervise an area/doorway
  • Clean-up/take-down

Please come to the meeting and bring a friend – CCHS needs your help to make this event successful and fun!

  1. Thank you CDN for publicizing this event. It is an opportunity for students to have a great time after the prom and party till sunrise. Not to mention that local merchants have generously dontated over $2000.00 in gift cards and jewelry to be given away. Food, games, prizes and competitions- what’s not to like?
