Berryville Baptist Mission Team Prepares for Trip to Indianapolis

By Joan Houck

On July 13 the 2012 Mission Team of 25 including youth, the Baptist Rascals Puppets and 7 adults will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for their yearly summer mission trip.
The team will stay there for a week sharing Vacation Bible School in two inner-city locations.  They will also host two church services and two homeless shelter programs that are for women and children and men.
They have scheduled a time of crafts and music at a woman’s prison half-way house and will visit Riley Children’s Hospital for a special afternoon program in the hospital atrium.
During the time they are there, they will be “camping out” at the Baptist Metro Center and a large inner-city community church.
They will celebrate Youth Sunday at Berryville Baptist Church on Sunday, July 22 at 11 AM.  Please join the young people as they share their time of witness and ministry with the congregation.  A covered dish lunch will be at noon following the service.  Everyone is invited.
