“Bingo For Books” Draws a Crowd

bingo-winnerOn Friday, February 26, the PTOs for DG Cooley and Berryville Primary sponsored “BINGO for Books.” The event was held from 5:30 PM – 08:00 PM in the cafeteria of Johnson Williams Middle School and saw a tremendous turnout. Students were encouraged to bring their families and play to win prizes that included, books, gift cards and gift certificates to local restaurants, including The Berryville Grille, and Camino Real.

Caller Amy Lowell entertained the crowd and conducted various bingo games that included Four Corners, Picture Frame, and finished the night with a game of Blackout, which required players to fill in every number on their card to win.

There were also raffles for prizes including bicycles and a grand prize of a Flip Videoâ„¢ Camcorder donated by COSTCO.
