Shannon Schneider, Bluemont, Virginia, will exhibit Angus cattle at the 2012 Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show in Timonium, Md., June 21-24, reports Robin Ruff, junior activities director of the American Angus Association.
Shannon, a junior member of the American Angus Association with headquarters in St. Joseph, Mo., is one of 164 young Angus breeders from 20 states who have entered a total of 337 head to compete for championship honors.
Cheramie Viator, Kiowa, Colo., will judge divisions for bred-and-owned heifers, bred-and-owned bulls, cow-calf pairs, owned heifers, and registered Angus steers.
The Eastern Regional Junior Angus Show is sponsored by the American Angus Association and the Maryland Junior Angus Association. It is one of seven junior Angus shows sanctioned by the national organization for nearly 7,000 junior Angus members in the United States and Canada.
