CCHS Horticulture’s 13th Annual Plant Sale

plantsale1The Clarke County High School Horticulture Department is having their annual plant sale starting Tuesday, May 4th (see schedule below).   Bedding plants, perennials, herbs, tomato plants, and plantings grown and arranged by instructor Beth Novak and the students (and some CCHS Horticulture Alumni and friends!) will be offered for sale.   The program offers quality plants to the community in an effort to educate students about the aesthetic qualities and importance of plants to mankind.   For more information contact Beth Novak at CCHS.

  1. Michelle says:

I look forward to this sale every Spring, nice plants for a good cause!

  2. bond, james bond says:

These plants are the best deal in the county. Ms. Novak and her students have always produced some of the best plants I have encountered. If anyone plans to do any planting this spring, this is it!

  3. My family always supports our schools and local merchants, unfortunatly here is another example of unrealistic hours of operation. When will we realize in Clarke that we are a bedroom community, as far as jobs are concerned, and when we drive home from the east it is very difficult to do business in Berryville on the “old school schedule”, no pun intended.

  4. Good heavens a school project can’t happen without criticism
