Scholastic Bowl is an academic competition sponsored by the Virginia High School League. Questions at the matches cover the four core academic areas of English, social studies, mathematics, and science, as well as world languages, the arts, sports, and current events. A good player must have a wide-ranging knowledge of all academic areas as well as the ability to react quickly and buzz in before the opposing team. Matches are fast-paced and exciting!
