Crafters from all over the area gathered for two days this weekend to show their wares at the 9th annual Holiday Arts and Craft Market in Berryville. The event was hosted by Berryville Main Street and was held at the John Enders Fire Company Social Hall. A diverse collection of products were on display for visitor’s to purchase and the event even included a special appearance by Santa on Sunday afternoon.
Iva Longerbeam, a Berryville local, created green arrangements that included wreaths and other holiday decorations. “This is my second year at the craft fair, I just wanted to see what I could do with this.”
Ceramic artist Brigitta Feinberg traveled from Annandale to show her work and displayed dozens of hand crafted vessels. The colorful collection featured a variety of glazing and firing techniques such as salt fired pieces.
Holiday sweets were also in plentiful supply via local confectioner Robin Smith who hails from Winchester. She travels to craft fairs and farmer’s markets throughout the area to sell her candies and confections. Her cinnamon candy and “pumpkin whoopie pies” were big hits throughout the fair.
