Clarke County High School Forensic Team Has Best Year Ever!

On Saturday, the CCHS Forensics team traveled to Madison County High School, where they won 3rd Place in the Regional Forensics meet. The team had previously won 2nd Place at Districts in February, and brought eleven students to compete at Regionals.

The team consisted of Katlyn Dykes, Conor Mettenburg, Joey Wood, Katie Lettie, Elizabeth Blight, Alecia Shultz, Katie Lese, Rob Madden, Warren Campbell, Bertrand Geurin-Williams, Katie Lettie, and Victoria Blackwell

The following five of these students will move on now to States   in April, having earned a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in their categories:

Rob Madden – 1st in Storytelling

Katlyn Dykes – 2nd in Storytelling
Katie Lettie – 2nd in Original Oratory
Warren Campbell – 2nd in Impromptu

Joey Wood – 3rd in Poetry Interpretation
