  1. Clarke Life says:

Imagine that? Another Power Outtage with REC? Longing for the old days of Allegheny Power…….

    • Wagonman says:

It’s not all bad with REC they have done more right-of-way clearing than I ever saw with Allegheny Power. Things are pretty good here in Shenandoah Farms.

    • REC seems to be doing a pretty good job. Hopefully the new digital meters help in locating outtages but I don’t know what percentage of the area has them now.

  2. Power wasn’t out for long on Sunday. REC seems to be more on the ball than Allegheny ever was, so I have no complains there. A big “thumbs-up” to the linemen who worked in the pouring rain on Sunday to get power restored to all.

  3. Ah Jes Luv Jurassic Clarke says:

Have to say that service has been tons better with REC. They got nailed soon after the changeover with all the nonexistent maintenance by Agony Power, but once they got a good look at the problems they went right to work. My generator is enjoying its holiday.

  4. Clarke Life says:

Say what you want, but I never paid the amount of money to Allegheny that I pay to REC.

  5. Got-A-Dollar says:

Clarke Life, I agree, it seemed like Allegheny had to beg for a rate increase but this co-op that was suppose to save the consumer money can raise rates at will. But hey, we get a magazine. We were sold a bill of goods with this outfit.
