Clarke County Schools Appoint New Director of Operations

Clarke County Public Schools has announced the appointment of Mr. Randolph (Randy) C. Trenary, Jr., as its new Director of Operations, effective January 5, 2011.   Mr. Trenary is a long-time Clarke County resident and a former employee of the Division.   He has served Clarke County students, staff, and parents as a teacher, coach, and athletic director.   Mr. Trenary lives in the Clarke community.

The Director of Operations primary areas of responsibility include transportation, safety and security, emergency management, custodial, and food service operations.

Superintendent of Schools Michael F. Murphy spoke highly of Mr. Trenary’s “commitment to the children of Clarke County and his dedication to public education.”

Rick Catlett, Assistant Superintendent, shared that, “those who have worked alongside Mr. Trenary will remember him as an exceptional employee with a tremendous work ethic.   We are pleased to have Randy return as the Director of Operations and look forward to the skill and passion that he will bring to the Clarke community.”

“Mr. Trenary is excited about the opportunity to serve Clarke County Public Schools and is looking forward to being an active member of the Division and school community,” said Murphy.
