Clarke Faces Strasburg in First Round Playoff Game

The pairings are out and the first draw for the Eagles pits them against fierce rivals in the Bull Run District. Clarke County will face the Strasburg Rams at Wilbur M. Feltner Stadium this Friday night at 7:00 PM. The Eagles secured a playoff berth Friday night with a 46-21 victory over the Dragons of William Monroe.

Pitted against their cross district rivals, the Eagles will face a powerful offense that dominated them in their last match up. In regular season play the Rams offense smashed the Eagles piling up over 300 yards rushing and beating them 50-21.

Clarke County has momentum on their side after a two week winning streak but Strasburg may come to town with something to prove.  Strasburg lost to Central 26 – 27 Friday night in the final moments of the game. The win gave  Central the Bull Run District title.

Come out and cheer on your Clarke County Eagles as they roll into post-season action and remember the game starts at 7:00 Friday Nov 11.
