Clarke Students Shine at DECA International Career Development Conference

Clarke County students proved the International DECA theme, “Expand Your Network”, true at the International Career Development Conference, which was held in Orlando, FL on April 29th -May 3rd.   Over 15,000 DECA members were in attendance from across the United States, Guam, Canada, Germany and Puerto Rico.

Their DECA Advisors, Robin Eddy and Mary Elson accompanied them.

Congratulations to Chris Smalley who received $1000   for the Ed Fleming Memorial Scholarship (1 of 3 recipients)

Students competed against 200 other competitors in their individual events.   They completed a 100 questions exam and 2 role-plays.
