The Rotary Club of Frederick County is excited about the first, annual “Tax Relief Pub Crawl for Charity”, to be held this Tuesday, April 17 from 5pm-8:30pm.
In this inaugural year, eleven downtown establishments are participating by providing discounts and specials during the event. Participating businesses include: Brewbakers Restaurant, Cork Street Tavern, Daily Grind/
Loudoun St., The George Washington Hotel, Italian Touch, One Block West, Piccadilly Brew Pub, Thai Winchester, Union Jack Pub & Restaurant, Village Bistro and Village Square Restaurant.
A Rotarian will be at each location with bracelets that may be purchased for $10. Patrons must wear a bracelet in order to receive the special offers and pricing. In addition, each restaurant is giving away a $50 gift certificate via a random drawing for “crawlers.”
The Rotary Club’s Community Service Committee will use proceeds to fund local requests from non-profit organizations, schools, etc. For $10, you can have an enjoyable evening celebrating that your taxes are filed. In turn, you will be supporting the local economy and local charities as well.
