After two rain-outs, the Eagles JV football team had their day on the field, albeit in the rain. The Eagles took on Hampshire High School as the rain fell on  “The Felt” and defeated the Trojans 44-20. The high scoring game featured several break away touchdown runs, one by Wayne Rouse, and two by Chris Collins.

On the defensive side of the ball the Eagles converted turnovers into points as  Sam Cohen scored with an interception return for a touchdown, and Josh Dulaney returned a fumble for a touchdown.

Due to the two rained out attempts to play Timber Ridge, this will be the only game for the JV side this season. Congrats to the JV Eagles on their defeat of Hampshire.

The freshman team has two games remaining, both of which will be away.  Thursday night the freshman take on George Mason and next week they are away at William Monroe.
