Eagles Softball Closes Out Record Season

The Lady Eagles Varsity Softball Team at Clarke County High School finished their regular season games Wednesday night by beating George Mason,  remaining undefeated in Bull Run District play with a record of 14–0.

Pitcher Sarah Herndon broke the standing record of Crystal Riley that stood for approximately 15 years.  Crystal’s record was 200 strike outs in a regular season.  Sarah surpassed that record before the final game of the season against George Mason Wednesday night.

Congratulations go out to all the coaches and players.

Post-Season regional games begin on Monday against Rappahannock at Clarke County.

Admission to ALL Bull Run District games is $ 5.00 – NO passes are accepted, except for VHSL, VHSCA Coaches pass and Bull Run District Pass.
