FFA Citrus Sale This Week

The Clarke County FFA has begun their annual Citrus Sales this week!

On Monday they received fruit fresh from Florida Indian River Groves, and juicy local apples from Mackintosh Fruit Farm.

The sale, benefiting agricultural education and the local Meals on Wheels programs in Clarke County begins Tuesday. Buyers can pick up their orders from Dec.6th through Thursday the 8th down at the high school from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.

Ordered fruit will be held until Wednesday Dec. 7th, after that all fruit will be sold on a first-come basis early Thursday morning, so make sure to come on down a pick up your fruit! The horticulture class is selling poinsettias for $8 as well as holiday wreaths and hand-painted ornaments. In addition the Clarke FFA chapter is collecting all non-perishable food items for their Food Drive, if you would like to donate please feel free to bring items down.
