Garden Fair Celebrates the Great Outdoors

Ample spring rain and cool weather provided a lush backdrop for the 22nd Annual Garden Fair at the State Arboretum of Virginia. The largest and most important fund-raising event of the year for the organization saw huge crowds turn out on Saturday to peruse the offerings of dozens of vendors. From nurseries and growers to furniture and hammocks, over 65 vendors set up displays for all the wants and desires of gardeners and those who appreciate the outdoors.

The event runs through the weekend from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rain or Shine.   Enjoy a beautiful Mother’s Day outdoors and take mom to the Garden Fair. Admission is $10 per car. The State Arboretum of Virginia is located at 400 Blandy Farm Lane just off of Route 50 in Boyce VA. For more information call 540-837-1758.
