Here’s the Beef – Wendy’s Invites Everyone to Lunch

The event we reported on May 3rd that had the whole town guessing is now open to the public. Mary Bosely from Red Tree Productions today forwarded the official public flyer and everyone is invited.

Wendy’s has chosen Berryville as the Official Launch Site of their New Berry Almond Chicken Salad. West Main Street, between Church and South Buckmarsh Streets will be closed on Wednesday, May 11 from 3-6pm (Rain date: Thursday, May 12).

Promoters have advised participants to enter and sign in at the South Buckmarsh end of the block. Also if you’re under 18, please bring a parent or guardian.

  1. I hope they bring Frosties too!

  2. Bubba D says:

    Their chili is pretty tasty!

  3. My 2 Cents says:

Just watch and see all the anti-growth (old-timers) in line to get their free lunch! Won’t hear anyone complaining then….

  4. I know there are people for and against this… I for one think it’s fun to see excitement in our sleepy little town on a week day… I love the flags and there is lot’s of people coming out to see what’s going on… The production crew came to The Berryville Grille for lunch today and I am greatful for that considering we aren’t part of the area being filmed! It’s a beautiful spring day and I am happy to be a business owner and resident of this town!

  5. TV3 Winchester has video up for those of us who commute (so that we can afford to eat!) and missed out on the event: http://www.tv3winchester.com/video/?autoStart=true&topVideoCatNo=default&clipId=5840916&flvUri=&partnerclipid= . Did any readers here attend? How was it?
