KidsVoting Mirrors Adults

Clarke County Public Schools is an active affiliate with KidsVoting USA of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. Students may go with their parents or guardian to the polls and, while the adults vote, the student can go to their own KidsVoting area at each precinct and cast their vote. No student is turned away.

KidsVoting curriculum is made available to all teachers in the county. Clarke County High School students assist at the polls.

Several organizations help supervise KidsVoting at the polls:

Kiwanis at the Russell precinct

Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW at the Berryville precinct

American Legion at the Buckmarsh precinct

Nancy Juday and friends at the Millwood precinct

Boyce PTO at the White Post precinct

Lions at the Pine Grove precinct

Lions at the Blue Ridge precinct

  1. Laura Bohall says:

It was a privelege to assist at Kid Vote-WHite Post yesterday. Thank you to Boyce Elementary PTO families for volunteering your time and especially for bringing your children to vote! The earlier we include our children in this process, the greater a realization we can instill in the value of their right to vote.
