LFCC Offers Wealth of Courses During Summer Session

Registration is open for the Summer 2012 Session at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC). Prospective students considering registering are encouraged to access the school’s website at http://www.lfcc.edu/future-students/index.html.  Students planning to attend LFCC in Fall 2012 can use the Summer Session to begin their course work.  Classes are scheduled in 8-week, 5-week, and 10-week sessions, along with non-standard session courses.

Classes are available in a variety of subject areas, including some new courses. Among the new classes available are “Topics in Cardiopulmonary Physiology and Pathology,” “Advanced Nature Photography,” and “Topics In Disease” at the Middletown Campus; “Religion in America,” “Immigration Law,” and “Legal Research” at the Luray-Page County Center, and “Appalachian Literature,” “Playwriting,” and “The Problem of Evil in Literature” at the Fauquier Campus.  There are also courses available in current disciplines such as Accounting, History, English, Information Technology, Career and Technical Education, Mathematics, Sciences and Humanities.  Before students can register, they must submit an application and take a placement test.
