WEST POINT, N.Y. – Cadet Christopher W. Liggett, son of Chris and Nancy Liggett of Berryville, Virginia graduated from the U.S. Military Academy on May 26.
Liggett graduated from Clarke County High School in 2008. While at West Point, he concentrated his studies in english, literature, and fine arts. He was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army within the Infantry branch and will report to Fort Campbell, KY, for his first assignment.
Liggett is a 2008 graduate of Clarke County High School where he swam, wrestled, played footbal, and played tennis. Liggett was also sponsored by the local American Legion (Post 41) to attend Boys State.
