It is so gratifying to see readers come to the fore. Reading is such a mind-expanding, thought-provoking activity that when I hear children say they don’t read, I just want to cry they are missing so much. African-American history is so rich, and so important to all of our lives that a project like this makes my heart sing. Thank you Dorothy & Helen! And Thank You to all who participated!
