Middletown, VA– The Lord Fairfax Small Business Development Center (LFSBDC) will hold a conference for veterans at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) on June 20, 2012 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event includes numerous sessions that answer questions for military veterans wanting to know about starting businesses, seeking employment in area businesses, or taking part in available training opportunities. There will also be sessions for businesses wanting to know about the advantages and incentives for hiring veterans. Other event sponsors include the Virginia Employment Commission and Mike Guevremont of Executive Protection Systems.
As part of the event, there will be a display of restored military vehicles. The public is welcome to view this display and talk to the owners about the vehicles and restoration process.
The conference will take place in the Corron Community Development Center of the Middletown Campus of LFCC. While there is no cost for attendance, registration is required.
