Loudoun County Spring Farm Tour May 21 & 22
Spend a Weekend in the Country!
Spring is a beautiful time of year in the Loudoun Valleys, with views of the Blue Ridge, Short Hill and Sugarloaf Mountains. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 and Sunday, May 22, enjoy this free self-guided driving tour down tree-lined country roads to working Loudoun County farms. Visit horses, chickens, sheep and alpacas in their natural environment. Take a hayride or have lunch by a scenic pond. Select your own strawberries and orchids. Enjoy the colors, people and products of the Loudoun Valleys!
Brochures for the Spring Farm Tour have been mailed to every household in Loudoun County, along with the Loudoun County Buy Fresh, Buy Local Guide. The Farm Tour brochure, including a map and directions to all participating farms, will also be available at Loudoun County libraries and community centers, and Visit Loudoun in Leesburg, as well as detailed tour information will be available at www.LoudounFarms.org.
There are 30 farms and 14 wineries on this year’s tour; gather eggs at Chicama Run, take a hayride at East Lynn Farms or stop by Zephaniah Farm Vineyard for a grass-fed Angus burger and a glass of wine.
