Aaron Benjamin Shirley, 17, of Berryville, Virginia died Saturday, June 19, 2010 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Aaron was born October 28, 1992 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Reginald King and Katherine Lynn Purdum Shirley.
He was a rising senior at Clarke County High School where he was a member of the DECA Club and played on the varsity football team.
He was employed at Enders & Shirley Funeral Homes, Yard Works in Berryville, and Sugar and Spice Jersey Dairy in Summit Point, WV.
Surviving with his parents are a sister, Abigail Lynn Shirley of Berrville, VA; a paternal grandmother, Evelyn Enders, of Berryville, VA; and four brothers, R. K. Shirley III and his wife, Kimberly, of Stephens City, VA, Steven A. Shirley and his wife, Leea and J. Steven Stiles, Jr. and his wife, Kimberlee, all of Berryville, VA, and Adam R. Stiles and his wife, Melissa, of St. John’s, FL.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Pastor Don Den Hartog officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery, Berryville.
Pallbearers will be Ron Anderson, Cody Anderson, Chase Anderson, Taylor Nichols, Jeremy Baker and Henry Schlachter.
Friends may visit the funeral home anytime Tuesday between 9:00 A. M. – 9:00 P. M. The family will be receiving friends 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
