Obituary for Alice B. Linck

Alice Irene Badaczewski Linck, 80, of Berryville, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 30, 2011 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Linck was born September 29, 1930 in Windber, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Walter and Kordella Witkowski Badaczewski.

She owned and operated Alice’s Beauty Shop.

She was a member of St. Bridget’s Chapel in the Field, Berryville.   She was a former member of the Ladies of the Moose, Berryville.

She married William Blake Linck on July 30, 1950 in Winchester, Virginia.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Sandra Ann Spain and her husband, Robert of Suffolk, VA and Cynthia Lee Rogers and her husband, Michael, of Salem, OR; two brothers, Frank Badaczewski and his wife, Alice of Myrtle Beach, SC and Joseph Badaczewski and his wife, Alice of Jerome, PA; three grandchildren, Talley Williford and her husband, Paul of Smithfield, VA, Lorie Wyatt of Roanoke, VA, and Joseph Wyatt of California, and 1 great-granddaughter, Caliegh Williford.

A brother, John Badaczewski and three sisters, Rosie Badaczewski Potochr, Josephine Jarvis, and Annabell Klemick, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A. M. Friday, September 2, 2011 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Stanley J. Krempa officiating.   Burial will be private in Pennsylvania.

The family will receive friends 7:00 – 9:00 P. M. Thursday evening at the funeral home.
