Obituary for Anita Williams Alsberry

Anita Williams Alsberry, 46, of Berryville, Virginia, died Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Alsberry was born November 24, 1965 in Winchester, Virginia, the daughter of John Henry Williams and Lucille Roberts Champion.

She was the director for Heritage Child Development Center in Berryville and later worked for Children of America.

She was an usher and missionary for Shiloh Baptist Church in Millwood and was a den mother for the Girl Scouts.

Surviving with her husband, James Frank Alsberry are her mother; three children, Channing Alsberry, Collen Alsberry and Conner Alsberry; step-children, James Alsberry II, Donelle Alsberry and Bruce Alsberry; two brothers, John Henry Williams, Jr. and Anthony D. Williams; grandmother, Barbara Strother; God-mother, Jean Brisco; God-children, Kristen Carey and Markeith Brisco; and four grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Friday, February 17, 2012 at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Carter Alsberry officiating. Burial will follow in Charles “Buster” Jackson Community Cemetery, White Post, VA.

Pallbearers will be members of her family.

The family will receive friends  Thursday February 16, 2012, 6:00 – 8:00 P. M. at Enders and Shirley Funeral Home, in Berryville.
