Elmon “John” Lee Golden, 81, of Berryville, Virginia, died Monday, April 2, 2012 in the Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Golden was born January 2, 1931 in Winchester, Virginia, the son of John “Jack” and Pearl Moore Golden.
He was retired from Alma Desk where he was a manufacturing representative.
He had served in the U. S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant.
He married Suzanne Watson Golden on June 5, 1954. Mrs. Golden died on September 6, 2006.
Surviving is a daughter, Kimberly Golden Chambers of Berryville, VA; and one grandchild.
A son, Michael John Golden preceded him in death.
A celebration of life will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 P. M. Monday, April 9, 2012 at his home, the Chamber’s residence, 104 Battletown Dr., Berryville, VA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to John H. Enders Fire & Rescue Co., 9 S. Buckmarsh St., Berryville, VA 22611 or to the Horseshoe Curve Benevolent Association, 1162 Pine Grove Rd, Bluemont, VA 20135.
