Marian Ann Feagans Jones, 87, of Berryville, Virginia, died Friday, August 17, 2012 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, Virginia.
Mrs. Jones was born July 18, 1925 in Clarke County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Cecil Benjamin and Sarah “Sallie” Agnes Spates Feagans.
She had worked for the FBI in Washington, DC. In later years, she worked for Feagans Jewelers in Charles Town.
She was a member of the Berryville VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Winchester Moose Lodge Women of the Moose, and Eagles Club in Winchester.
She married Thomas H. Jones on July 2, 1955 in Berryville, Virginia.
Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Cynthia E. Glaize Bassett of Bluemont, VA and Terry Lynn Feagans of Martinsburg, WV; a sister, Nancy F. Vincent-Crim of Berryville, VA; a brother, Wilder W. “Jimmy” Feagans of Winchester, VA; seven grandchildren, Kenny Dean Glaize, David Gregory Coffelt, Michael Dean Coffelt, Ann Christine Coffelt Beard, Michelle Glaize Hartbarger, Christopher Glaize, and Stacey Glaize and three great-grandchildren, Austin Alexander Glaize, Bailey Elaine Beard, Aubrey Leigh Beard,.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Olen “Monk” Dean Glaize, a son, Kenneth Dean Glaize, four brothers, Robert R. “Bobby” Feagans, Kenneth L. “Fats” Feagans, Cecil B. “Junie” Feagans, and Bill J. Feagans and a sister, Elaine V. Feagans Moore.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 A. M. Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with Rev. Jonathan W. Bunker officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park, Frederick County, Virginia.
Pallbearers will be Michael Dean Coffelt, Kenneth Dean Glaize, Robert M. Moore, Larry Bassett, Kenny “Jet” Feagans, and Tommy Beard.
The family will receive friends 10:00 – 11:00 A. M. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
