Marian Williams Sedlins, 94, of Berryville, Virginia, died Friday, August 27, 2010 in Berryville, Virginia.

Mrs. Sedlins was born September 12, 1915 in Champlain in Essex County, Virginia, the daughter of Robert Andrew and Rosie Stokes Williams.

Mrs. Sedlins lived in Water View, Virginia for 30 years.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Clarke County Senior Center; Golden Girls Club in Hamilton, VA; and the Order of the Eastern Star, Freedom Chapter.

Surviving is a son, John Z. Sedlins, Jr. of Lovettsville, VA, a sister, Grace Gray of Baltimore, MD, and two grandchildren.

Her husband, John Z. Sedlins, three sisters, Mae Cuffley, Fannie King, and Josephine Mytka and five brothers, Mason, Robert, James Eldridge, Ernest, and Paul Williams all preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be private.

Burial will be in Upper Essex Baptist Church Cemetery in Caret, VA.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601 or to the Clarke County Senior Center, P. O. Box 48, Berryville, VA 22611.

Arrangements are being handled by the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Berryville, VA.
