Obituary for Mildred H. Ohl

Mildred Helen Zellner Ohl, 86, of Berryville, Virginia, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Greenfield of Berryville Senior Living.

Mrs. Ohl was born January 15, 1926 in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Russell James and Alice McMichael Zellner.

She worked at American Parts.

She was a member of The Church of the Good Shepherd, Ladies of the Elks in Winchester, and Women of the Moose, Winchester Lodge.  She was a volunteer with the Winchester Medical Center Auxiliary.  She enjoyed participating in the Red Hat Society activities.

She married Robert Paul Ohl on May 15, 1948 in Summit Hill, Pennsylvania.  Mr. Ohl died June 17, 2010.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruth Smale and her husband, Frank of Round Hill, VA and Donna Stevens and her husband, Dennis of Roanoke, VA; and three grandchildren, Mark Smale of Alexandria, VA, Christopher Stevens and Tiffany Stevens, both of Roanoke, VA.

Two brothers, Donald Zellner and Norman Zellner, preceded her in death.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville with  Rev. Vernon Bray officiating.  Burial will be in Grand Army of the Republic Cemetery in Summit Hill, PA.  A time of fellowship will follow the memorial service at the Battletown Inn in Berryville.  There will be a time of fellowship and light refreshment at the Battletown Inn in Berryville following the memorial service.
