Obituary for Reginald L. Hawkins “Reggie”

Reginald Lynn “Reggie” Hawkins, 51, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Saturday, May 1, 2010 at his residence.

Mr. Hawkins was born May 12, 1958 in Lake Alfred, Florida, the son of James Moore and Emma Jean Hawkins Guerrero.

He was a chef.

He was married to Tina Louise Hawkins.

Surviving with his wife are three daughters, Shameika Schroyer, Yolanda Hawkins-Johnson, and Shae Hawkins; and 12 grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P. M. Thursday, May 6, 2010 at the Life in the Word Church of Jesus Christ, White Post, Virginia with Rev. Bobby Huddnall officiating . Burial will be in Sugar Hill Cemetery, White Post, Virginia.

Arrangements are being handled by the Enders & Shirley Funeral Home, Stephens City, Virginia.


  1. I was so sorry to hear of “Mr. Reggie’s” passing. He prepared lunch for my son’s preschool and my son was very fond of him. My son had a red shirt with a steam engine on it, and every time I would dress him in that shirt, he would say “this is the shirt that Mr. Reggie likes – he really likes trains!”. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Reggie’s family.
