Robert Lee Pendleton, 43, of Stephens City, Virginia, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in Stephens City, Virginia.
Mr. Pendleton was born February 27, 1967 in Front Royal, Virginia, the son of Randolph and Linda Marie Pendleton Sloane.
He was a care giver.
He was baptized at St. Paul’s Baptist Church, Happy Creek, Virginia.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Randolph and Brenda Sloane of Winchester, VA; his mother, Linda Sloane of Bealeton, VA; two brothers, Henry Lee Sloane of Front Royal, VA and Randolph Robert Jackson of Cross Junction, VA; a special uncle, Andrew Sloane with whom he lived; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 A. M. Tuesday, September 28, 2010at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, VA with Rev. Ralph Williams, Sr. and Rev. Edward Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Ebenezer Church Cemetery, White Post, VA.
Pallbearers will be Glenn Polston, Deon Roberts, Bryan Sloane, Vincent Summers, Arthur Summers, Lawrence Summers, and Johnny Freeman. Honorary pallbearers will be all his family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 P. M Monday evening at the funeral home.
