Photography Show and Sale – Call for Entries

The Barns of Rose Hill, a Center for Community, Culture & the Arts, is fully renovated and open to the public. After its first successful Grand  Opening Art Exhibit, this beautiful center is gearing up for its next
show, a Photography Show and Sale. We invite all area photographers – professional and amateur alike – to participate.

The theme of the show is “Horse Country.” The photographs could include horses or beautiful landscapes (with or without horses), close-ups  or  anything related the equine, its environment or its riders. Surprise us!

To apply to be a participant:

– Submit a maximum of five images before October 10.

– Email the images to Pam Lettie,  or snail mail a CD to Pam Lettie, 394 Spring House Lane, Berryville, VA 22611

– Make sure the images are jpgs and no more than 1 meg each; smaller is  better since the images will not be printed.

– Filenames should include the name of the photographer.

– All ages are welcome to apply.

– In the body of your email, please include your name, email address,  mailing address and phone number, as well as the framed size of the photograph.

– Participants must be residents of Clarke County or the surrounding horse country.

If you have questions or concerns, call Pam Lettie at  540-454-0930.
Photographers will be notified by October 20 if their work is selected.
Photographers will need to drop off their framed ready-to-hang  images on Sunday,  October 30 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The show will be on display at the Barns through the end of 2011.
