Shrimp Sale Returns for December

The shrimp are back! If you missed out on the shrimp sale in November, here’s your chance to add some seafood to your holiday menu.

The Clarke County Lions are now taking orders for fresh shrimp brought to Clarke County directly from a distributor in Savannah, Georgia. This Lion tradition draws people from far and wide for these exceptional seafood treats. These large (21-25 count) shrimp are picked up right off the boat the day before they are delivered to Berryville. Enjoyed best the day they are delivered, they will keep for days and can be frozen without sacrificing their outstanding flavor.

100% of the  profits from the sale will be distributed among charitable organizations and needy people.  The Lion’s Club distributions will focus on sight, hearing, safety, and youth activities.

The price is $13.00 per pound (15-17ozs) – Payable on delivery. Distribution will be at the Blossman Propane parking lot (across from the Battletown Inn) in Berryville between 10:00 am and noon on Saturday, Dec 17th.

Cut off for orders is Noon Monday Dec 12th.

  1. What is the origin of the shrimp? No smart a** answers please. I’m interested, depending where it comes from, farm or ocean

  2. Fly on the wall says:

Ummm…no…shrimp farms involve water and boats, too.
