Steam Show Heats Up the Weekend in Clarke

The SVSGEA “Pageant of Steam” Show has kicked of their annual 3-day event at the Clarke County Fairgrounds in Berryville, VA. Vendors, exhibitors and visitors were already packing the grounds early Friday morning for this family friendly annual event. Features include some of the finest restored farm tractors and equipment as well as live demonstrations of these vintage beasts.

Visitors will also find a wide assortment “vintage toys” such as demonstrations of   gas-powered Maytag washing machines, collections of rotary and self-propelled lawnmowers, outboard motors, and restored   lawn and garden equipment. The show also has one of finest displays of restored antique and vintage pickup trucks, fire trucks, dump trucks,   wreckers, and over-the-road truck tractors.

A large flea market is also held at the event with vendors offering everything from used, hard-to-find parts for old engines and equipment to new and used tools, T-shirts, ball caps, collectables, and crafts.

Food vendors will also be set up to feed hungry crowds with everything from hamburgers and hotdogs to Italian sausage and fried chicken.

Admission $5- (children under 12 free) and parking is free as well.
