Johnson-Williams Middle School

Academic and Extra Curricular Awards Ceremony was held November 18th

Over 270 students honored for making all A’s and B’s in addition to fall athletes

JWMS salvation army food drive concluded today – over 400 items collected

Students Created holiday wreaths for Youth Development League

Giving Tree Project to begin immediately after Thanksgiving break

Cougar Community Connection (a new student club) also to begin in near future

Boyce Elementary

International Education Week – Exchange students from CCHS visited all 4th and 5th grade classes

Cardinal recognition assemblies held – Students awarded for academic achievement and Kids Voting Participation

2nd graders to hold Thanksgiving Breakfast Feast on November 22 – Students wear handmade costumes, perform songs and poems and enjoy breakfast made by parent volunteers

1st Graders to perform Thanksgiving Play on November 22nd

D.G. Cooley Elementary

Parent Conferences held on November 17th

November 18th Cooley “celebrated student success” – Grade level celebrations held to reward 1st quarter academic excellence

2nd Grade to Hold “Tribal Fest” on November 22nd – Celebrate student learning of American Indian

2nd and 3rd grade to travel to JWMS to see the CCHS Theatre IV class perform the “Little Red Hen”
