Thomas Francis Nolan IV

Thomas Francis Nolan IV, 63, of Berryville, Virginia, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at his residence.
Mr. Nolan was born April 1, 1946 in Washington, D. C., the son of Thomas Francis Nolan III and Marguerite Scott Nolan.
He was a computer programmer. He was a free lance journalist and had work published in the Human Life Review.
He served in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam era earning the rank of Lieutenant.
He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He was the current chairman of the Clarke County Republican Party.
He married Susan Margaret Devlin on July 29, 1972 in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Meg Roque and Katie Nolan, both of Berryville, VA; two sons, Michael Nolan of Atlanta, GA and Tim Nolan of Berryville, VA; a sister, Linda Nolan of Annapolis, MD; and five grandchildren, Mikey Roque, Joanie Roque, Jack Roque, Maggie Roque, and Calvin Nolan.
A grandson, Finbar William Devlin Roque, preceded him in death.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 P. M. Monday, December 28, 2009 at Grace Episcopal Church, Berryville with The Rev. Canon Dwight L. Brown officiating. Burial will be private.
