The Clarke County High School varsity softball team will host Manassas Park on Thursday, May 3rd at 5:00 pm for the annual “VHSL Play for a Cure Game.” Their goal is to raise awareness and educate the public about breast cancer. Both teams will be wearing pink in their uniforms, with the Eagles wearing Pink Jerseys and socks.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Clarke County High School will be handing out literature throughout the game and holding a bake sale to benefit the cause. Donations for the Clarke County High School “Pitch-In for a Cure” will be accepted at the concession stand on the day of the game. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society. The Clarke County High School softball program will also be making a donation to the American Cancer Society from their team fundraising efforts.
