Virginia Farm Bureau Says Strawberry Season Looks Good
Strawberry season is just around the corner, and berry fans can expect a good, quality crop this year—only a little later than usual.
“The cold has not damaged the plants themselves, but it has delayed their maturity,” said Mike Cullipher, a fruit and vegetable producer in Virginia. “Some of the plants were covered, and those will be on time but the vast majority will be delayed by a week or 10 days. So the same quality—just a littler later.”

Would like more local agriculture reports/connections. This one was terrific.
C’mon SPRING!!!
